Vampire Diaries, is the original Twilight.

Okay, let's admit it people. Yes we love twilight. But L.J. Smith had this concept first. And are you guys even watching the show? It's absolutely fantastic. Personally when I read the book, there was a special place in my heart for Damon, th ebrooding older brother. But Stefan Salvatore, played by Paul Wesley is sexier than anything, including Rpattz (sorry chikas, and I have to say. If I had the choise of deciding who should suck my blood. I'd prefer stefan, anyday.

But Twilight was easier to read. I found myself flipping through the pages quicker, whereas the choppy writing style by L.J. was never my style.

Twilight=better book. Vampire Diaries=wholly ten times more imaginative and
makes a much better movie/show plot.
